Last week, COSMO supported the Global Summit of Women in Tokyo. The 3-day Summit brought together over 1,300 people from 62 countries, including business and government leaders, and aimed to celebrate women’s achievements, as well as explore strategies and initiatives to improve the economic status of women through roundtables, seminars, and discussions.
On Saturday, May 13, COSMO President & CEO, Kumi Sato moderated the Luncheon Session on “Accelerating Entrepreneurship”. The speakers for this session were Muriel Penicaud, CEO, Business France & Ambassador for International Investment (France), Erica Chan, Senior Vice President & Senior Administrative Officer, Walmart Asia (Hong Kong SAR), Emiko Sasaki, Partner, Ernst & Young Shinnihon LLC (Japan), and Haruka Mera, CEO, ReadyFor (Japan).
Next year’s Summit will be held in Sydney, Australia.
