Last month the ACCJ Board of Governors named Kumi Sato as Chairman Emeritus in recognition of her 27-plus years of outstanding service to the Chamber.
Among her contributions, Ms. Sato has:
i. Served as Governor, Vice President, Chamber Chairman, Special Advisor, External Affairs Committee Chair, Japanese Membership Recruitment Task Force Co-Chair, and Leadership Forum Co-Chair,
ii. Made significant contributions to advocacy position papers,
iii. Pioneered the Chamber’s corporate social responsibility efforts,
iv. Championed many advocacy positions on behalf of the Chamber.
